Drafts Tom Postma 2013

Fair Architecture

The fair’s interior design is the work of the internationally sought-after Dutch designer and architect, Tom Postma, who is also responsible for the look of TEFAF in Maastricht, Art Basel and Art Basel Hong Kong, among others. For HIGHLIGHTS, Postma creates a modern, open architectural interior, which he combines with elegant booths of highly individual design.

For HIGHLIGHTS’ move to the Munich Residenz, a specially tailored temporary exhibition hall will be erected in the Emperor’s Court of the Residenz. This will be connected to some rooms that formerly housed the Egyptian Museum. The fair will be entered from the Court Garden.

                                                                                                              Fair Impressions 2010 – 2012

From 2010 to 2012, HIGHLIGHTS was held in the west wing of the Haus der Kunst. The booths of HIGHLIGHTS exhibitors were skilfully inserted into the monumental, spacious rooms of the Haus der Kunst through the mediation of a modern, minimalist interior architecture. Joint booths and public areas such as the lounge of our media partner AD (Architectural Digest) and a winter garden with the Ruinart Bar of our sponsor Moët & Hennessy made sure that visitors could take a break whenever they liked.
